al (the host previously known as dolly/lolly) was joined by bestie Alexandra M of THORN (Trans Hookers Resistance Network) to discuss an assortment of hot topics, you’re gonna laugh a lot as well as experiencing that pit of despair that rises whenever we confront the current rise in fascism, censorship & purity culture.
Alexandra provided an in depth presentation on THORN’s new zine ‘What Does it Mean to be Radical in our Current Times’, outlining the many hurdles experienced with a printer, how radicalism has changes since her first pride parade in 1999 Sao Paulo, the pitfalls of visibility & just how proud we are of this zine featuring 100% trans s*x work writing & art. The group chats were popping off as there was another morally loaded BBC documentary exploring exploitation & s*x work, this time focusing on online work. We reviewed the sensationalist show ‘OnlyFans: Inside the Machine’, so if you’ve watched it you can rage with us & if you haven’t we tell you everything you need to know.
We also provide an update on The EHRC (Equality & Human Rights Commission) Code of Practice and the implications of it for trans people. It’s a tough listen, so if you’re not up for it that’s understandable.
To finish off the episode it’s one of the funniest episodes of the wankers corner I have experienced in quite some time. Alexandra does an extremely dramatic reading of an illicit customs request & al has some sordid tales as usual ripe with subjugation, c0ke & depravity, throughout which Alexandra provides a snorting/oinking tutorial.
